The meaning of the new school seal are as follows:

 

•  The YELLOW SHIELD symbolizes the Church. It is a reminder that Academia is a Catholic School and provides Catholic Education to those who come to work or study.

 

• The LAUREL LEAVES signifies excellence and victory. It challenges every Bartholomian to view life’s struggles and pains as sharing in the sufferings of Christ so we could share in His glory.

 

• The OPEN BOOK stands not only for knowledge and wisdom, for the skills, values, attitudes, and competencies which Bartholomians seek to acquire. It is a reminder to put the Gospel values as the basis for their actions. It is also a symbol of the School’s devotion to its titular patron, Saint Bartholomew, the Apostle.

• The PALM BRANCH is another symbol for St. Bartholomew. It is expressive of his martyrdom. It is a reminder for Bartholomians to emulate its patron in proclaiming and in defending the faith.

 

• 1982, the year of the school’s foundation; bears not only the historical distance traversed by the school from its early beginnings as Little Stars Academy but its constancy and consistency of commitment towards Christian Education and Formation.
