Heavenly Father, Your Son Jesus called St. Bartholomew to be his disciple and later on sent to preach the
Gospel to the nations and ended his apostolic ministry with a glorious martyrdom. We thank you for
giving us this wise and faithful Apostle to be our patron and guide. With Mary, your Son’s Mother, we
come to you to ask you the grace to be a community of disciples deeply rooted in the Gospel values.

LOVE FOR SIMPLICITY
Grant us the wisdom of know and value the essentials in life, to distinguish and yearn only for what is
true, good and beautiful. Teach us to value contentment more than personal happiness, for we can
never be happy if we are never content.

INTEGRITY IN LIFE
Help us to be honest, decent, accountable and responsible. For in order to please you we have “to do
right and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with you, our God. (Micah 6:8). We commit ourselves to
the pursuit of truth; to say what we mean and mean what we say.

FAMILY ORIENTED
Give us the heart to love you in our neighbor, the eyes to see you in their need, the ears to listen to you
in their sorrows. Inspire us to be persons who build good and lasting relationships and make us
generous distributors of your gifts for at the end of our lives we can only keep that we freely give away.

ENDURING EXCELLENCE
With our God-given skills and talents, enable us to achieve excellence in everything we do to sanctify
each and every endeavor with distinction, quality, brilliance and superiority. Let us not be taken aback
by any impediment, difficulty or failure for “if you are with us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31).
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ your Son who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit One
God forever and ever. Amen.
